We are making dinosaur eggs.

“ Will a wee dinosaur hatch out our egg?”

“ I think dinosaurs still live in England”

“This is an awful lot of paper we need”

The children have been learning about dinosaurs and are making their own dinosaur eggs. First of all they had a look at a picture of dinosaur eggs in a book and discovered that their eggs were lumpy. Then they tore up or cut strips of paper, mixed a flour paste and stuck the strips to a balloon. It was a team effort with many children helping to build the layers and once it dries out we will paint it.

Whilst working on this project the children were further developing their ability to work as a team with a common goal, share resourses and take turns.
