We are learning to warm up before exercise and stretch our bodies after.

Physical Education

I am learning to move my body well, exploring how to manage and control it and finding out how to use it and share space.

Today we were learning to move our bodies in different ways in the gym hall. First we were imitating our favourite animals “let’s be a tiger” “an elephant”.

Then we enjoyed using the ribbons to make shapes in the air. We moved the ribbons waving them, making circles, throwing them in the air and watching them float to the ground.

“We need to build a wall.”

“We need bricks from that cupboard”.

During singing, we took turns to act out one of our favourite nursery rhymes, “Humpty Dumpty”.  Children found materials needed to perform the rhyme and shared their ideas to build a wall.
