Playdough Power

Often children will make playdough during their nursery sessions at Arthurlie Family Centre. They may chose to squish, roll, sculpt and mold their mixtures during play.  Playdough play can be a powerful way to support your child’s learning. This activity encourages children use their imaginations and strengthen the small muscles in their fingers—the same muscles they will one day use to hold a pencil and write.
