Creating stories; We can project our own stories onto the smartboard and talk about the characters and what the story is about.

“Pinky Pie and Twilight Sparkle have got rainbow coloured tails and can fly.”

“They fly to the shops and buy cherries and purple grapes. They eat them all up and get much bigger.”

Some of the children were creating stories and were being an author and illustrator. In order for the children to explain their stories to their peers, their stories were projected onto the smartboard. By doing so, the children could clearly see the characters and this enabled them to give a good description of what their story was about. The children in the audience who were looking at the stories were able to peer assess and voice their opinions on each of the stories, “Wow, that’s awesome. I like the colours you used in your Rainbow Dash character.” “I like how Twilight Sparkle and Pinky Pie can fly.”
