Some of the children were displaying excellent imaginative and creative skills whilst using the large blocks. They initially made a skateboard ramp, which led to making ramps for cars and using the remote-control cars. They instigated making tunnels and having a race to see who could come first, second and third. Other numbers were introduced to challenge the children.
“This is a skateboard ramp. I’m going down on my skateboard.”
“Is it coming through the tunnel?”
“My car’s parked at number 3.”
“I’m making a tunnel with my legs. Is it coming through?”
“It’s up the top of the ramp. I’m the winner. I’m first.”
