We can make our own story

To help with the focus on fine motor skills and looking at different parts of a story the blue group made their own story. The children remembered that a story needs to have ‘character’ who was ‘snaily the snail’ and they decided the ‘setting’ would be in the water. All of the children could remember that every story has ‘a problem’ and the characters in their story had ‘a big big big big problem’ which was a crocodile. The children had been practicing actions to go with the different animals so were able to act out the story at the same time.
