Giraffes Can’t Dance

The children have been developing their interest in the story of “Giraffes Can’t Dance”. Some children found a stick at the woods that was in the shape of a giraffe. The stick was then brought back to the playroom, painted and a clay face was added.   A toy Giraffe and numbers were used to develop the children’s number recognition. Gerald the Giraffe stopped at his favourite number and the children were encouraged to guess what number Gerald would stop at.
