Problem Solving & Teamwork

DSCN9690 DSCN9691

Following the children’s interest in maps they built a lego car for the roads. The boys were able to use the instructions and show their problem solving skills by looking at the pictures and working out if ‘that bit goes there’. The children worked together and each took a different role with one of them looking after the instructions, one making sure all the pieces stayed on the board and the rest putting different parts of the car together. The boys were able to work out what some of the pieces were meant to be ‘ do the bricks go in here’ because of the colour of the pieces and the pattern on them, then the boys knew  ‘Its finished’ and were able to show it to their mums  at home time.
