The children were racing tyres down the hill. The children chose the colour of their tyre then counted down from 10 to 0 to race the tyres down the hill. The children were also racing the bikes against the tyres.
“It’s my shadow. Your shadow is taller.” The children discovered their own shadow outdoors, which generated interest in observing other shadows. The children noticed the difference in the sizes of the shadows and made comparisons to what they could see.
