” See when I was building I decided to measure to make sure the blocks were the right size. When I was hammering I was also measuring I done them both at once. I was the Captain of the ship.”

The children love building with the wooden blocks and become absolutely engrossed in their activity.  They were building a pirate ship, using the mathematical language of measure, working extremely well with other children as part of a team, and exchanging creative ideas with one another.
