We have been exploring shades within a colour and texture by using sponges and paint to create a tree. Through the use of collage we have made owls to sit in our tree. Our hard work is being displayed in the corridor for everyone to enjoy.

We have been revising our o’clock times and learning about half past times on both digital and analogue clocks.

Last week we started our new Life in the Past topic. Over the coming weeks we will be learning about the similarities and differences between our lives and those of children from the 1930s to the present day.

We had the chance to ask Mrs Sobocinski about life as a child in the 1980s and we are looking forward to asking our parents and grandparents about their childhoods.

Today in science we worked with Mr Tyler to explore the effect of pushes of different strengths on toy cars.
