Primary 6.21 have been developing their understanding of poetry by sharing their understanding of the features of different types of poetry. They focused on developing their ability to collaborate with others to gain a deeper understanding of a particular type of poetry.

They then worked in pairs or small groups to create their own pieces of poetry using the outdoors as their inspiration, along with applying their senses to add detail to develop their ideas and vocabulary.
