Today we had our last Literacy and English parental workshop focussing on Talking and Listening. We explored strategies for developing talking and listening skills as well an playing an array of games that can be used at home. Both parents and children had lots of fun!
Mr Foster joined us today to further explore floating and sinking using liquids of different densities.
This week the children have been exploring expressions, melting, using tools and hunting for letter sounds!
Last week we were learning about meeting dogs safely and we have three steps to remember:
We also learned the importance of leaving dogs in peace when they are eating or sleeping.
This morning the children were exploring the impact of pollutants on sea animals by setting up a mini ocean and adding pollutants to the water to see what would happen.
They were also working together to clear litter from the beach.
Finally the Lab Technicians came to let them have a shot of the VR headsets allowing them to explore the worlds oceans.
