Holly has been helping to hoover in the house as well as playing ‘Pop to the Shops’ which helps her with her counting and dealing with money. She has also been matching her letters to pictures and doing jigsaws.

Today we are going to explore the weather! In Scotland you can often experience many different types of weather in just one day, so pick the activities below that suit the weather you have today:

If it is raining put a container outside and at the end of the day see how much water has fallen, how could you measure it?

Write a weather journal and record in pictures and words what the weather is like each day.

Read some poems or books about weather

Make rain in a jar – fill a jar with water, top with shaving foam and drop some food dye on top then see what happens!

Go cloud watching – find a comfy pace and look at clouds, what shapes and colours can you see?

Create a weather chart so you can show your family the weather each day
