Story Writing

Anna has been showing a real interest in telling stories and asked her mummy if she could write a book.

Mummy wrote down everything Anna said. Anna then drew pictures to help tell her story about a poor little unicorn.

Anna’s book is now her favourite bedtime story. Well done, Anna! 📝

Busy Little Bee

Chloe has been in Caddoc’s Woods exploring, cycling, finding and hiding rocks for Mearns Rocks. She even spotted a heron the other day! Looks like the garden has been lots of fun as well.

We have also heard that a romance has blossomed between two of your bears and that they went out for an ‘Italian’ last week and then got dressed up to the nines on Thursday for #clapforcarers.

Loving your art and crafts as well, Chloe.

I’m a Little Teapot

I’m a Little Teapot

I’m a little teapot,
Short and stout.
Here is my handle,
Here is my spout.
When I get all steamed up,
Hear me shout.
Tip me over and pour me out!

I’m a very special teapot,
Yes, it’s true.
Here’s an example of what I can do,
I can turn my handle into a spout.
Tip me over and pour me out!

Activities

Throw a tea party for your family or for your toys.

Count how many teacups or mugs you have in your home.

Act out the nursery rhyme.

Draw and decorate a picture of a teapot.

Fill a teapot with (cold) water and see how many cups you can fill from it.

Happy Families

Hunter, Faye and April are enjoying spending time together as a family. Lots of fun activities happening at home.

Looks like we have some more bike riders who don’t need stabilisers anymore. Well done!

Thank you for the photos of the beautiful nursery flowers. Fingers crossed we get to enjoy them together soon.
