Primary 6.21 took part in Maths week Scotland and thoroughly enjoyed the activities that they took part in.<\/p>\n

Each morning the class were given a new daily challenge and enjoyed sharing their approaches and solutions.<\/p>\n

Primary 6 were tasked with creating what is known as curves of pursuit. They had to create a piece of artwork using a repeated pattern of a 2D shape and reduced the size of the shape by 1cm each time the shape was drawn.<\/p>\n

Over the course of the week each pupil completed research on a famous mathematician of their choice. Primary 6.21 were also tasked with researching Aristotle. They enjoyed collating their research and sharing their new found knowledge.<\/p>\n

The class were invited to attend a Maths Week Showcase that allowed the pupils to discover the different aspects of Mathematics that other classes studied during Maths Week.<\/p>\n
