For our final week of Mearns Masters, the class participated in a live debate with a Primary 7 class from Giffnock Primary. The motions were all to do with ways of encouraging people to stop smoking i.e. to raise the price of nicotine products or to stop advertising nicotine products on social media.<\/p>\n

After three excellent debates, Mrs Kennedy and the Depute Head Teacher from Giffnock gave both classes some feedback on their debates. The other Primary 7 class from Giffnock were the judges and voted Mearns Primary the winners!!<\/p>\n
