For the past few weeks we have been super busy with a variety of different curricular areas. In mathematics we experimented with a new medium that was commonplace for a lot of the new generation – The Playstation.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

It was odd to get used to at first due to the tight control system needed to pull off tricks. We got there however!<\/p>\n

We used the game for long multiplication and division as the characters gain trick combos as they pull off various tricks. We paused the game after a combo and attempted to work out these complicated sums as quickly as we could. It showed us that maths doesn’t just exist in the classroom.<\/p>\n

Our designer project also came to an end recently so we thought it best to update you on our final session.<\/p>\n

We had architects from St Luke’s High School join us to finalise our design project and they offered us new and innovative ways to further develop our final piece.<\/p>\n
