Primary 6.24 have been working hard in their Mearns Masters. They are working on cooking this term. In groups, we made nachos and spicy pasta. The nachos were very easy to make but we still had to be careful of how much of the ingredients we put in. The pasta was a very challenging dish to make but we did it and we made it taste AWESOME!

Paper Chain Challenge
Primary 6.24 undertook a STEM paper chain challenge. We had to work in groups to create the longest paper chain. We had to measure the chains with a ruler and make sure they were 4cm in width. The overlap had to be 1cm.
We used our Meta skills and there was lots of good teamwork on display.
Pumpkin Peeling
Primary 6.24 have been doing some pumpkin cutting and peeling. This helped us with our different cooking skills! The first time we did cooking we made pumpkin soup with these pumpkins!

Primary 6.24 have been cooking for their Mearns Masters! We made two different types of curry – an Indian curry and a Thai green curry. We decided to make it seasonal by putting in vegetables that don’t travel from other countries.
