We have been using natural resources to build 2D and 3D Inukshuks.
“I preferred building the 3D because its not lying down. I had to build the stones on top of each other, which was harder. It was important to choose the right stones to balance” Sean
“We build 2D Inukshuks because we thought it would be easier as it would take less time. We didn’t need to try and find the right stones to balance on each other. We could challenge ourselves next time to build a 3D one” Emma Ormsby
“When we were measuring you had to make sure it was balanced. I found out the small trophy weighed less than 200g weight” Emma C
“It was fun putting the different things in the 2 pan balance to see what was heavier or lighter” Kyle
“We measure weight using grams and kilograms or g and kg” Sean
“I liked it when we were playing measuring games on the computer. We had to see which item weighed the most” Ethan
It was really fun and I liked the clown’s pom pom” Andrew
It was easy when I drew the pictures to help solve the problem.Sam
“I enjoyed putting the coloured cubes into different places. I used the cubes to put the colours red, green and blue in different places to make a list” Adam
“Using an organised list makes it easier to make sure you don’t forget any of the ones you did,” Aimen
