Our S1

“Beginning to be a Scientist” course is exactly as it sounds!

When our new S1 pupils arrive at Turnbull High School we spend some time working on the skills they have developed in Primary School. There are lots of practical, hands-on experiments to help us gauge the skill level of our new pupils.

In this unit, we equip our pupils with the knowledge and skills they will need for the rest of their Science career. We look at literacy and numeracy, graph drawing and problem solving. We also carry out our first Science Investigation!
