Pupils in S1-S2 will study Physics as part of an integrated Science Course. During this course, experiences and outcomes from CfE Levels 3 & 4 are covered.
The Physics department jointly develops and delivers the integrated Science Course along with the Biology and Chemistry departments.
Pupils at the end of second year can choose to study either ONE or TWO sciences in S3 depending on their ability level and interest.
Pupils in S3 Physics study a range of topics including:
· properties and applications of light waves and the electromagnetic spectrum
· practical electrical and electronic circuit
