S3 is where our pupils work towards their Level 4 which will prepare them for the demands and rigour of National 5.

The first topic that we look at is Terrorism. Pupils learn about the causes, consequences and responses to this contemporary world issue.

Once this topic is completed, pupils begin to look at Democracy in Scotland. The roles of our elected representatives, the advantages and disadvantages of voting systems and the role of the media, pressure groups and trade unions are just some of the content that is covered.
