At National 4 and 5, pupils work towards these qualifications studying the following topics.
- Democracy in the UK
- Crime and the Law
- The USA as a World Power
Pupils at National 4 complete various unit assessments and an investigation into a Modern Studies topic.
At National 5 pupils follow a similar path with an additional write up of their investigation and an end of course exam. Each component has a significant impact on the young person’s overall grade.
All S4 pupils will also work towards a Level 5 Criminology NPA/
