P6 at the Museum of Transport
P5 Titanic Assembly
Thank you to all the parents and grand parents who came along today to see the P5 Titanic assembly. Thanks also to Mrs Woods who came and played the piano for them. The children did wonderfully well in telling the sad story of the legendary ship and acted out some scenes, sang some hymns and shared their thoughts and feelings about the story. Well done Mrs Nicholas and P5!
Dr Jamieson Visits P3b
Thanks to Dr Jamieson who is the aunt of one of our P3 pupils for coming in to help with the class’s ‘My Body’ topic. Dr Jamieson brought lots of interesting equipment to show the children who learned more about how the body works from her visit.
P7 Mass of Thanksgiving
St Machan’s School Choir together with our P7 class led the singing at the Archdiocese of Glasgow Mass of Thanksgiving. They sang beautifully and the Mass was an uplifting experience for all involved. Thanks to Karen Geoghan who played wonderfully for us. Archbishop Tartaglia thanked all the children very much and gave all the children a special gift at the end of Mass – a prayer card for the Year of Mercy and a Miraculous Medal.
