STEM can often be developed through literacy activities, including listening and talking. With communication being a Meta-skill for learning, life and work, check out the resources below to support literacy and STEM development combined.
- I’m a Scientist Debate Kits – Develop listening, talking and communication skills through these debate kits. Best suited for upper primary and beyond.
- Great Science Share Talking Prompts – Use the Great Science Talking Prompts to support your learners in talking effectively in groups by thinking about the verbal behaviours they use when they react to what other people say and seek to clarify understanding in discussions.
