We had great fun making our own cup phones. We learned that sound can travel as vibration through a string, the cup acts like a speaker. We sent secret messages to each other.

As part of Catholic Education Week our class wrote our own prayers for poor children around the world and affected by war.

Our new topic is the Romans. We have learned lots of interesting facts including all about the Roman army , the empire and their way of life.

We’ve been learning to write instructions, we wrote about how you would fix Woody from Toy Story 2.

First, we watched the clip were Woody gets repaired ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2GB9h6rqeU4 ).  Next, we planned our writing.  Finally, we wrote our own instructions, including the tools you would need and the method you would follow.

To celebrate Burns Night we weaved paper to design our own tartans!
