As part of Scotland’s National e-Learning Offer (NeLO), e-Sgoil are pleased
to offer the following\u00a0experience for Ukrainians here in Scotland.\u00a0 This
opportunity has been created in partnership with\u00a0Education Scotland and
Tayside Regional Improvement Collaborative.<\/p>\n
We are keen for this opportunity to reach displaced Ukrainian families
across Scotland as early as possible and ask that you use your networks and
contacts to share the attached flyers (both English and Ukrainian) and
details below as widely as possible. There will also be social media posts
from e-Sgoil that can be re-tweeted and shared so that we can get the
information to those that would benefit from it.<\/p>\n
e-Sgoil will be providing regular online live interactive sessions for
improving the young people and their family’s conversational English – led
by a Ukrainian speaking teacher.\u00a0 It will bring\u00a0displaced families
throughout Scotland together in an online environment and support them in
building a sense of togetherness and community while avoiding social
isolation.\u00a0 It is an opportunity to share experiences with other families
about the benefits and challenges they have faced in their own situations
as well as giving each other practical advice and finding collective
solutions.\u00a0Specifically, it may be an invaluable starting point for
learners to gain confidence in speaking English ahead of joining Scottish
schools.<\/p>\n

connections and discuss relevant issues in a supportive community setting.<\/p>\n
