In our construction area we have been looking at deconstructed den building using different sizes and shaped boxes. In our room we have lots of visual aids to help support us as we look after our toys and resources. Claire has been introducing makaton (hand signs) for our everyday routine. We have learned milk, water, yes, no and plate. We have now decided to create our own paint mixing chart to remind us when we\u2019re painting at the easel.\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"s2\" style=\"font-size: 1rem\">The children have also been busy making cupcakes out of brown coloured play dough. We have been developing our risk assessing skills through lots of opportunities for risky play in our large loose parts area.
