I ran in a cross country race at the weekend.  It was with Garscube Harriers at Maryhill Park.  It was tougher than the last time I ran because there were a couple of hill that were really hard to get up.  I got a gold medal for participating.  Keira

On the February weekend I went to Harry Potter Land.  It was where they actually filmed a lot of the films.  I was so excited and it was even better than I thought it would be.  We also went to the M&M shop, the biggest Lego shop in the world and the Nickelodeon shop.  I got an M&M soft toy, a massive Gryffindor pillow and magnetic bookmarks from Harry Potter Land and I also got a Lego mini London bus.  Thanks to my Mum and Dad for a fantastic Christmas present.  Megan

It was my birthday a week ago.  I was really lucky and I got a phone.  I got new gold trainers too.  I got an iPad and a phone cake with the apps pictured on it!  It looked amazing!  I had a magic time.  Gemma

I went to Ardgartan and we went on Night Line. This is where you wear black out goggles and you hold onto a rope and someone leads you though muddy obstacles.  It was fun but also really scary. You had to squeeze through tiny little gaps and crawl through tunnels.  Luckily we had helmets on! Jessica

I went to a camp with my church in Auchengillan. We did crate climbing and I managed to get to the top limit of eleven.  It was lots of fun!  We also did Night Line and after that we jumped in muddy puddles.  We were soaking and really muddy – it was all over us and our faces!  My Mum didn’t mind doing my washing!  Carys

Me and my friends ran at Maryhill Park at the Garscube Harriers Cross Country Race.  I came 21st. I got a medal for participating.  The race wasn’t too hard but the hardest bits were the hills.   At the weekend I also went to a Judo competition and I won a silver medal.  I have a yellow and white belt in judo just now.  Fionn 

I went to my Gran and Papas for a sleepover on Sunday night.  We went to see Sing at the cinema and then we went out for lunch.  I really liked the film because there were lots of animals and they were singing really funny songs! Abbie 

Yesterday I went to a hotel in Edinburgh.  It had its own private pool and we went swimming.  In the pool I was able to give my dad piggy back rides!  It was for my Mum’s birthday and she had a nice time.  Max 

For the next few weeks we are delighted to welcome Mr N Mann, a renowned Opera singer, who has very kindly given up some of his valuable time to teach the children before he leaves the country on his next world tour.

The children have been trying out different voice warm up exercises and have been learning to sing a piece of music that would have been regularly sung in court during the time of Mary Queen of Scots.

I got a drone and two pairs of football boots for Christmas. Jack

It was my gran’s birthday on the 24th December. Abbie!

I got tickets to the Little Mix concert for Christmas! It was also my grans BIRTHDAY on New Years Day! Keira!

At Christmas my Auntie Jenny, my Uncle Nichos and my three cousins came over. We went to Adventure Planet with them.  It was lots of fun.

On the last day of the Christmas holiday I went to the Irn-Bru carnival. I went on lots of rides and alot of them were very scary. I liked the the ride which went straight up then straight down really fast. It was really fun. Fionn

In February I am going to Harry Potter Land as part of my Christmas present. Megan

I went to Aberdeen to see my cousins, aunts and uncles.  I also went to Austria with my Mum, Dad and two sisters for my Dad’s Birthday.  On Friday we were skiing in -20 degrees. CARYS

In July I am going to Disney Land with my mum, dad and big brother and my gran and grandpa. Gemma

I have arranged my party and I am having a Bubble Soccer Scotland party. Alistair

I went to an Avenger Stunt Show and went ice-skating. Jessica

I went to my cousin’s house because it was his birthday and we stayed up till three in the morning and played games. We had fun making our melting snowman biscuits! Totally yummy!

Last week I was at Lapland!  I went by aeroplane and we had to do a few circles in the air before we landed.  When I got there I wanted to jump in the snow but I had to get wrapped up in a thick snow suit first.  Then I was able to jump in the snow!  We went on a bus to get to Snowland.  There was an ice slide that we went down but Mum and Dad didn’t want to.  We met some huskies and we had a slide with them.  We met seven reindeer and we saw their sleigh.  I got to meet Santa!  He gave me a dog teddy.  It was really cold because we were in the Arctic Circle.  There was a giant igloo that was like a huge maze inside.  I had an amazing time!  Max L

I went to Arran on holiday.  I went to Whiting bay and I saw the lights switched on.  I went with my cousin Poppy and Ryan, Liam and Emma and my sister Lori and my brother Luke.  Kate

On Friday I went to the pantomime with my mum and auntie. Megan

I went to the pantomime on Saturday and I saw my cousin. Jack

I went to see Santa and got to stroke reindeer. Rory

It was my birthday on Wednesday the 7th.  I went to see a pantomime on Thursday and Friday at the Fort Theatre.  Carys

On Friday at assembly we got medals for running in the Kirkintilloch Schools cross country race. Balmuildy Primary 5 were first. Fionn & Alistair

I am going to a pantomime this Saturday with my family.  Gemma S

It is my sister’s birthday this week and she is going to be 7!  Happy Birthday Heather! Abbie W

It was my dad’s birthday on the 6th of December. We were more excited than he was.  We got him two cakes because I am a very fussy eater!  Keira

 

At the weekend I went to farm park called Eden Mill and it was great because I got to see Santa Claus. They also had reindeer that you could feed! Fionn

I went to Milton Keynes at the weekend for an engagement party. We were in the car for the most of the weekend though (about 15 hours in the car!) Keira

I taught my dog how to weave through my legs and I am practicing teaching him rolling over and playing dead. Abbie B

I went to see Frozen On Ice and not one person fell over. I also met my best friend Carys.  Kate

It is my dad’s birthday today (Tuesday). Happy Birthday dad! Jack

I moved up a level in my swimming training. I am now in Tank 2! Carys

I am going to Ireland for a wedding next year and I moved up a swimming level to level 6! Kate

I skipped a class in Arabic school because I was too clever for my class! Al-Hassan

I went swimming with my friends Fionn and Max and we went on the slide together. Al-Hassan

In horse riding I was able to control my horse to walk around the arena without a leader!  Megan

I did the cross country race with my cousins & friends.  We all got medals for taking part! Keira

I got a solo part for my song with my dance group and I am in the front row for my dance! Emma

My friend Sophie and I worked hard and were able to finish a really hard dance! Abbie W

I got a solo part in one of my dances and I am in the front row in all of them so I think I am getting better.  The show is in Clydebank Hall. Abbie B

I am going to see Cinderella in Glasgow and I might see Jemma. After I am going to a restaurant. Sophie

Me, Fionn, Jack, Max D and Ben all entered in the Springburn Harriers cross country race and we all got medals after it! Alistair.
