This includes climate change, carbon footprints, emerging technology and the effects of technology on our lives. Pupils finish the unit with a podcast project, creating a report on their chosen technology. <\/td> August to October <\/td><\/tr> Bebras Challenge <\/td> Pupils prepare for and attempt an online computational thinking challenge. Computational thinking skills are key to being a good problem solver and a good coder. <\/td> November <\/td><\/tr> Scratch games <\/td> Pupils create their own games through a process of discovery and instruction. The games are shared across the class and reviews are written of teach game. <\/td> November to March <\/td><\/tr> Website creation <\/td> Pupils learn to create HTML web pages and create a website on something they are interested in using basic HTML coding <\/td> March to May <\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table><\/figure>\n\n\n\n Technology in Our World<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
