We can now see the foundations for the gym hall and all the offices!

This drone photo that appeared on Facebook recently shows the amazing progress being made with our new building! It shows the size of the new school compared with our current building.

Today is the last update before Christmas. We can see now how big the building will be from the foundations that have already been made and where the builders have laid out space for more foundations. We can’t wait to see what progress will be made after the holidays!

Today we got a good view of the next section of foundations being poured!

We can now see where the next section of foundations will be. The builders have been preparing for the next concrete pour.

We can now see where the steel will be attached to the foundations! There’s also some building materials been delivered, though we’re not sure what it’s for yet.

Now that the first foundations have set, they have been covered with sheets to protect them while the builders prepare for the next stage.

Pouring the concrete for the first section of foundations took all day and was very noisy! Here are some videos of what we could see from our windows!

On Friday the construction team were all ready to pour the concrete, but it was too cold! So they postponed until Monday. The weather was much better on Monday and the concrete was poured! It took all day! This is just the first of several concrete pours as they build the foundations in stages.

Over the last two weeks we’ve watched the builders prepare the foundations for the concrete pour that will create the solid base for the new school building to sit on.
