Bus journey was trouble free and boat crossing a bit choppy, but thankfully no sick bags were required. Cruise facilities could have been better but when you have as entertaining a bus driver as ours then who’d complain?
Arrived at 11.40am. 57 children, 4 staff and 100+ pieces of luggage! Goodness knows WHAT is in each case???
On arrival the pupils were faced with several difficult tasks.
Challenge number 1: How to lift a case the same height and 50 times their own body weight up a flight of stairs. Not an easy task…
Challenge number 2: Making a bed. How do we get a duvet cover on and do we REALLY need to use a bed sheet?
Pupils are now exploring their area in their groups and are looking forward to tonight’s spooky night walk.
