Kat on the outside is just a normal ordinary teenage girl . She is 17 years old . She lives with her parents and a younger brother and an older sister . Kat can easily make friends . However once she makes them she makes mean comments not knowing how hurtful they are to her friends . Once she realises that she has hurt her friends she can’t say sorry , so she puts as much space between her and her friends as much as possible . For example she blocks their number or ignores their texts . Therefore causing more hurt . This happens to mostly every friendship Kat has .
Vera Lunn is 36. She is a singer on cruise ships and spends many months at sea. She was married to Milson Flinn 11 years ago but was divorced shortly after she gave birth to Tommy. Lee Lunn is her second husband and has given her family stability as he agreed to settle in Cariton shortly after Tommy began to walk. Vera’s mother in Law Kelina often stays with the family during school holidays.
10 year old Tommy Flinn lives with his Step Dad Lee Lunhn in 17 Doolittle Crescent. His mum Vera is a singer on cruise ships so only lives at home for six months of the year. His Dad is an engineer on a cruise liner but is based in Southampton and Tommy rarely sees him. Tommy goes to the community school and is a keen runner.
