Well we have started getting ready for Christmas in the Pine Room.<\/p>\n

During a game of Christmas Bingo were all successful learners,\u00a0<\/strong>matching up the symbols on our board, practising our Makaton <\/strong>symbols for all the different Christmas things, such as Christmas Tree, Angel, Elf, Snowman and Bell.\u00a0 Below are a couple of links if you want to practise at home.<\/p>\n

Our Christmas Tree is made out of felt, so we can pull off the shapes and rearrange them \u2013 we can decorate the tree everyday if we want!!!\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 It gives us another great opportunity to talk about the shapes and practise our Makaton<\/strong> signs.<\/p>\n

Oh no Buddy the Elf is back!!!<\/p>\n

He is ready for some MOVE today!!!<\/p>\n

For Literacy<\/strong> we made \u2018glowing\u2019 Christmas Lights in our names, finding the letters, sounding them out and making lovely name plates.<\/p>\n

Now lets get decorating!! Spreading the icing, sprinkling different coloured sprinkles, and making shapes.<\/p>\n

This was great fun!!<\/p>\n

Now for some Numeracy<\/strong>\u00a0 \u2013 lets make some reindeers.<\/p>\n

During Sensory Play we\u00a0 mixed, rolled the plastic balls, exercised our hands and made soap shapes.<\/p>\n

In Art <\/strong>we are making Christmas babbles, sticking different textures on to\u00a0 paper plate \u2013 we will finish them off next week.<\/p>\n

We open an advent parcel every day and read a different Christmas Book below are a few of our favourites.<\/p>\n
