Literacy<\/strong><\/p>\n

This week we develop our writing skills again. Let’s try sensory writing using our finger or a stick: use shaving foam spread out on a tray or table-top or use a light dusting of flour, sand or salt.<\/p>\n

Numeracy<\/strong><\/p>\n

Counting activities:
Use a pointing finger to touch each item, for example, count how many shoes you have. Can you sort them into groups? How many have laces? How many have Velcro fastening? How many have buckles? etc.<\/p>\n

This week you can try making your own cakes and pizzas using the My World Kitchen online game on CBeebies.

After you have made those delicious treats online, you can then have a go at washing dishes at home to help out (which is an excuse to splash about in some soapy water). You could even wipe down the kitchen surfaces or sweep the floor. I’m sure there’ll be some Snowdrops who’ll love this activity! \"\"<\/p>\n

Outdoor Learning<\/strong><\/p>\n

When it’s cold and frosty outside, the wee birds need us to help them find food so this week we will make our own bird food to give the birds in our gardens. <\/p>\n
