Today is Robert Burns&rsquo; birthday <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/s.w.org\/images\/core\/emoji\/12.0.0-1\/72x72\/1f973.png\" alt=\"&#129395;\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/s.w.org\/images\/core\/emoji\/12.0.0-1\/72x72\/1f388.png\" alt=\"&#127880;\"> I thought this week that we could celebrate by doing some Burns themed home learning challenges.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Literacy *<br \/>\nBelow are two animated clips of some famous Robert Burns poems. Can you listen to them? You might be able to find some tartan in your house, I have a tartan scarf and a tartan skirt that I have found in mine.<br \/>\nCan you create your own tartan using the electronic game below? We had been using icing pens for some Christmas crafts as part of our ILP targets so this activity ties in nicely.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/ea\/public\/wbankplanets0\/uploads\/sites\/17906\/2021\/01\/25100134\/20210125_093030-206x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"206\" height=\"300\"><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Expressive Arts *<br \/>\nIn class, we regularly create some step by step drawings. We find this very calming and relaxing.
