{"id":3268,"date":"2020-08-27T08:07:00","date_gmt":"2020-08-27T08:07:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/ea\/willowbankschoolkilmarnock\/2020\/08\/27\/i-can-see-a-rainbow%f0%9f%8c%88\/"},"modified":"2020-11-13T15:47:34","modified_gmt":"2020-11-13T15:47:34","slug":"i-can-see-a-rainbow%f0%9f%8c%88","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/ea\/willowbankschoolkilmarnock\/2020\/08\/27\/i-can-see-a-rainbow%f0%9f%8c%88\/","title":{"rendered":"I can see a Rainbow\ud83c\udf08"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>In the Pine Class we are all getting to know each other and reading a few different stories &ndash; our class theme is based around &lsquo;The Story of the Rainbow&rsquo;.<\/p>\n<p>I am going to include a little of the story in each&nbsp; blog, we won&rsquo;t be sending out homework, but we will put a few ideas for you to do at home &ndash; if you want?<\/p>\n<p>So &hellip;&hellip;.Once upon a time &ndash; as all good stories start!!<\/p>\n<p>All the colours in the world started to argue,&nbsp; they believed that&nbsp; they were the&nbsp; best, the most important, the most useful.<\/p>\n<p>So in class we are all going to follow this and start with the colour<\/p>\n<p>RED <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/s.w.org\/images\/core\/emoji\/12.0.0-1\/72x72\/1f34e.png\" alt=\"&#127822;\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/s.w.org\/images\/core\/emoji\/12.0.0-1\/72x72\/1f53a.png\" alt=\"&#128314;\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/s.w.org\/images\/core\/emoji\/12.0.0-1\/72x72\/1f3ee.png\" alt=\"&#127982;\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/s.w.org\/images\/core\/emoji\/12.0.0-1\/72x72\/1f534.png\" alt=\"&#128308;\"><\/p>\n<p>Red couldn&rsquo;t take anymore, he believed he was in charge, life&rsquo;s blood, the colour of danger, fire and bravery.<\/p>\n<p>Can you look around and find some red things in your house? Lets count them&hellip;how many did you find? Or when you are out in the car count all the red cars that go past.<\/p>\n<p>Mrs MacDonald made some beautiful red themed pictures with us &ndash; which we have on display in the corridor.<\/p>\n<p><span>&nbsp;<\/span><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/ea\/public\/wbankpine\/uploads\/sites\/8697\/2020\/08\/27074259\/DSC01552.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"191\" height=\"143\"><\/p>\n<p>We have also started reading the the story &lsquo;The Colour Monster&rsquo;. You can find this story online if you would like, it is all about a mixed up and confused monster, who gets help to put all his different feelings in different jars.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/ea\/public\/wbankpine\/uploads\/sites\/8697\/2020\/08\/27074941\/DSC01553.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"182\" height=\"137\">&nbsp;&nbsp;<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/ea\/public\/wbankpine\/uploads\/sites\/8697\/2020\/08\/27075353\/DSC01554.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"178\" height=\"134\"><\/p>\n<p>We have also planted some lovely flowers and some cress &ndash; with has started to grow!<\/p>\n<p>We have listened to loads of different music &ndash; picked our favourites!
