Sun Cream

☀Sun Cream Notice☀

  • ☀As mentioned in the May newsletter, we would ask that you apply sun cream to your child before dropping off at the ECC.
  • ☀The ECC will not be applying any initial applications of sun cream, we will only be applying top up applications of sun cream. This will be at:
    • 12.15pm (after lunch)
    • 3.15pm (after high-tea)
    • This will not apply to the children who attend a morning session – unless they will be accessing outdoors before being collected at 12.45pm
  • Below is a photo of the sun cream the ECC will be using for top up applications

Our outdoor area is opened at 9.30am and children come back inside at 11.30am for lunch. It is then opened up again after lunch.

  • ☀We would ask that you don’t keep your child’s sun cream in their bag as this encourages the children to go into their bags and use this. They also are keen to share and use their sun cream with their peers – which could result in a child with sensitive skin applying sun cream not suitable for them.
  • ☀We appreciate that some children may attend childminders after ECC and may require to have their sun cream in their bag for this reason – on this occasion this would be permitted.
  • ☀If your child requires to use their own sun cream due to allergies, please provide a bottle to stay within the ECC that the staff can keep stored in our medication cupboard out of reach of little hands.
