Applications opened at 9.30am on Monday 3 November for the early years footwear and clothing grant for academic year 2025\/26 for parents\/guardians of children due to access a place from January 2026 (any parents\/guardians who missed the August deadline can also apply \u2013 please note this is only paid once per academic year, any parent applying who have already received the grant this academic year will be declined).<\/p>\n
Applications will remain open until 4pm on Friday 21 November. Anyone missing the deadline will not be able to apply until the applications re-open in February 2026.<\/p>\n
Payment of the grant will be the week of 22 December.<\/p>\n
\u00a375 is available per child age 3 and 4 years whose circumstances meet the criteria for footwear and clothing grants it is important that parents who are eligible have the opportunity to apply.<\/p>\n
Please Note: Children starting their place in April 2026 will be invited to apply for the grant in February 2026 (prior to their child\u2019s start date).<\/p>\n
