Lots of you loved making and playing snakes and ladders with your family. For today’s Adventure in Learning, we’re promoting ourselves to game designers.
In a nutshell, the game works like this: players roll a dice, land on a colour, choose a matching colour card and then perform the task written on the card. The task can be a spelling challenge, rhyming words, math facts and even a motor action. The game is straight-forward, but the possibilities for design and challenges are endless.
Have a look at the link below to explore how to create your very own board game!

We always have lots of toilet paper rolls at home and especially during lockdown some of us might have even more!
Let’s use them to make an amazing spy decoder!
Have fun! 🙂

Origami is the art of paper-folding. Its name derives from Japanese words ori (“folding”) and kami (“paper”). Traditional origami consists of folding a single sheet of square paper (often with a colored side) into a sculpture without cutting, gluing, taping, or even marking it.
Let’s take a single sheet of square paper to make a butterfly!!!
Enjoy 🙂

We always spread our kindness and love at school by giving a tootle to the people who are helpful, respectful, kind and caring. We even give tootles to all of those who have the power to make us feel happier when we feel sad!
Let’s start our lovely day today by giving a tootle to the people in and around our home who make us feel happy and safe and are always kind, caring and respectful to us!
I am going to give my tootle to my husband who is always kind, helpful and respectful! Also, I am going to give a huge tootle to NHS and all the key workers who work so hard to keep us all safe!
I wonder who is going to get your tootle…
Leave your tootles below as a comment! 🙂 🙂 🙂

Smoothies are a great way to eat frest fruit and vegetables!
Fruit and vegetables contain vitamins and minerals that help us keep healthy. We should eat at least five serves of vegetables and two serves of fruit each day.
Choose three fruit that you like the best. Ask an adult to help you and put them in a blender. Add some milk into the blender and blend all the ingredients together.
Tips: Bananas will make your smoothie soft and creamy. If you want your smoothie icy cold, you can put some ice cubes into the blender, too. If your smoothie is very thick add some more milk.
Post a photograph of your smoothie and share your recipe with us!
I am thinking of adding some honey and cocoa powder into my smoothie, too!
Enjoy!

1. Reverse the Words
This is a simple code to solve – just read the words backwards! Even though it seems simple once you know the secret, it can be a hard one to figure out when you don’t.
2. Read Every Second Letter
Read every second letter starting at the first letter, and when you finish, start again on the letters you missed.
3. PigPen
The PigPen code is easier than it looks and it is my favorite. First, draw out the two grids below and fill in the letters:
Each letter is represented by the lines around it (or pigpen).
You can practice to write your name and silly words before moving to coding whole sentences.
The letters and messages you can write can be fun, but make sure you send along a key so the recipient can figure it all out!
Let’s spread our love with a secret message!
