3D pop up tulip card

Today is our Big Writing day!

Let’s design and make a ‘Thank You’ card for all the health workers who work so hard at this difficult time to keep us all safe and well!

It’s always lovely to say thank you with a flower, isn’t it?

Feel free to borrrow the idea below for your cards, too!

Let’s spread our love and kindness!!!

April fools’ day challenge!

In france, kids make paper fish and on April 1st try to stick them on someone’s back without them noticing!

Are you ready to make a paper fish and stick it to someone’s back withou them noticing?

Watch the video below to learn how to draw a fish step by step!

Let’s play Pong Hau K’i!

Pong Hau K’i is a traditional Chinese game which is simple enough for kids, and even preschoolers. It is known as Ou-moul-ko-no in Korea.

What you need: A pen or pencil (any colour), a piece of paper, a ruler and 4 bottle lids or tokens.

What you do before you play:  First of all, you have to make the board. Take a piece of paper and then get your pen and the ruler to make a big x in the middle of your paper. Add three sides on your x. Your board should be looking like this:

How to play:

Each player has two tokens. Players take turns to move. At each turn, the player moves one of their two pieces into the next available vertex (corner). If a player can’t move, they lose. If both players play perfectly, the game continues endlessly with no winner.

Salt painting

I love this idea!! The only materials you need are salt, PVA glue and watercolour paint.

The video says that you need cardboard, but I think a plain piece of paper will be fine. If you use a plain piece of paper try not to wet it too much with the paint! 🙂 🙂

Have fun and keep safe!

Let’s grow some vegetables!

🌱 Did you know you can regrow many vegetables from the bits that are normally chopped off?
💧 Try it out by placing the root in a shallow dish of water and see what happens!
🥕 Try with: Lettuce, Green Onion, Celery, Carrots, Leeks etc.

This term we have been learning about Vikings! Here are our amazing Viking helmets that we created in class by using shiny, flexible and bendy materials!!!

Our next step is to have a solo talk about Vikings😀😀😀
