Let’s make a butterfly feeder!

Spring is here!A variety of different butterflies visit our gardens looking for food, places to breed, or spots to overwinter as adults, larvae or pupae. Each garden will attract a different set of butterflies depending on the plants, trees and shrubs present, and what the surrounding habitats are like.

I wonder if we can attract more butteflies with our butterfly feeders!

  1. I saw a beautiful butterfly in my garden last week – it was brownish red with two large circle shapes on each wing. The circles were a kind of blue/turquoise colour and so pretty. I am definitely going to try making the butterfly feeder to see if I
can attract any more butterflies to my garden.
