Monday 9th September – Friday 13th September

This week has been a busy week in Primary 6.

We have been:

  • using > and < to compare numbers.  We have been using place value flip boards and counters to help.
  • reading our class novel The Selkie Girl.  We are using post it notes to make predictions about what might happen on the next page.
  • meeting with our pupil groups.  Some of the groups are JRSO,  Well Being and Sport School Scotland.
  • working with Mrs Bradley to design football stadiums and develop our skills of working in our house groups.

Thank you for taking the time to read our blog. 🙂

Hi everyone this is a little update from Codi, Amber and Sarah from Primary 6, We are here to tell you what we have been learning about so far. In class we have been looking at numeracy, RE, Fitness for PE .

For numeracy we have been partitioning whole numbers, in PE we have been doing fitness to keep us healthy and fit. We have P.E on Tuesdays and Thursdays .  In RE we  have been looking at the order of mass and people have been setting up the altar.  Around the school people have been taking the lunch boxes back after lunch so it can be more tidy. There is also Primary 6 buddies helping the Primary 1s get into the swing of things , we have a timetable to tell us who is going down to the primary 1/2 playground.  We play games with them, make them smile and laugh so that they have fun. We have Ms Reid teaching us French and Angles on Thursdays . We have also been working on our class charter and our class novel we should be thanking Miss Quinn for most of this because she has helped us and made us be the best we can be. That is it everyone, we hope you all enjoyed reading this blog. bye everyone.
