This week is Climate Action Week and P2/3 will be participating in an online lesson with the Royal Zoological Society about Animal Homes. We will have a learning focus on habitats. Perhaps you could ask your child about this?
Tuesday 24th September – Sumdog Spelling – Log in to sumdog, choose spelling, click on tasks, select this week’s spelling task, try your best and enjoy!
Wednesday 25th September – Reading for enjoyment. Select a Giglets text or audio book from the online library at https://giglets.com/ or choose a book of your own to read and discuss with an adult. Can you spot any new vocabulary or any words containing our phoneme of the week?
Thursday 26th September– Log in to sumdog, choose maths, click on tasks, select this week’s numeracy task, enjoy!
Monday 30th September – Can you practice counting forwards in ones to 100. How far can you go without getting mixed up?Try some skip counting in tens 10s to 100 and back? eg 10, 20, 30….? Challenge a grown-up at home! Can P3s skip count in 100s up to 1000 and back?
