The following activities may be done in any order, when it suits you.  It is recommended to spend no more than 10 mins on each activity. Please take a break if your child needs it.

Reading

This week your child will be given a reading book in a homework pack. This book will already have been covered in class and is for extra practice at blending and reading fluency. Please enjoy and discuss the story together. There are some useful ideas for chat or follow up inside the back cover.

Don’t feel you need to do the whole book in one go. It’s fine to focus on a few pages a night if that’s easier to manage.
