It is hard to believe that we are now in December.\u00a0 We lit our second advent candle today. \u00a0Preparations for Christmas are well and truly underway.\u00a0 Please find some important information about upcoming events below.<\/p>\n

Reindeer Run<\/strong> – Wednesday 7th December<\/strong>.\u00a0 There is an item on ParentPay to allow for donations.\u00a0 All money raised will be donated to CHAS.\u00a0 \u00a0This takes place in the school grounds – children will need outdoor clothing suitable for the weather conditions on the day.\u00a0 \u00a0Thank you to P7 and Miss Quinn for organising this.<\/p>\n

Christmas Lunch and Christmas Jumper Day<\/strong> – Friday 9th December.\u00a0 <\/b>Children can wear Christmas jumpers to school on this day.\u00a0 There is no donation asked for, however, we would appreciate a donation for the foodbank.\u00a0 Any non-perishable food items are welcome.\u00a0 We have a small number of Christmas jumpers and t-shirts in school that can be borrowed – not just for this day, but over the Christmas Season.\u00a0 We just ask that they are returned, clean and ready for storage until next year.\u00a0 We would also be grateful for any donations of Christmas jumpers that your children have outgrown.\u00a0 \u00a0Christmas lunch should be booked via ParentPay as normal.<\/p>\n

Christmas Parties <\/strong><\/p>\n

Children can bring party clothes\/casual clothes to get changed into or can go home for lunch and get changed.\u00a0 Please notify the school office if your child is going home for lunch.\u00a0 They should be collected at 12.35pm and return for 1.20pm.<\/p>\n

P3\/4 & P4\/5 – Tuesday 13th December 1.30pm\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

P1 & P2\/3 – Wednesday 14th December 1.30pm\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

P6 & P7 – Thursday 22nd December 1.30pm\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

Thursday 15th December – Whole school Outing to the Gaiety Theatre.\u00a0 ‘Sleeping Beauty’.<\/strong>\u00a0 Our buses will leave at 9am – please ensure children arrive at school on time.\u00a0 \u00a0School uniform must be worn, however, this can be ‘jazzed’ up with Christmas accessories e.g, tinsel, Santa hats, head wear etc.\u00a0 \u00a0Children should bring a SMALL snack and a drink for the interval (no fizzy drinks please).<\/p>\n

Christmas performances<\/strong><\/p>\n

Tickets available via ParentPay, 2 per family.<\/p>\n

Tuesday 20th December – 7pm<\/strong>.\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0Children should come to the school no earlier than 6.30pm.\u00a0 The doors will open at 6.45pm.<\/p>\n

Wednesday 21st December – 10am.<\/strong>\u00a0 Doors open 9.45am.\u00a0 Tea and coffee available after this performance.<\/p>\n

Whole School Mass and Pope Francis Faith Award Enrolment Service.\u00a0 Friday 23rd December<\/strong>.\u00a0 School Uniform to be worn.\u00a0 Please come along and join us in Our Lady and St. Patrick’s Church for 10am mass.\u00a0 Our school Choir will perform before mass from 9.45am.\u00a0 \u00a0Our P6 children will take part in enrolment for PFFA.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
