Homework Due: 01.02.17

In class we are doing a Case Study of Glasgow and this will lead to a final Project which will be completed as a homework task. This project will be completed in stages, the next stage is to include:

1. Information about the traffic problems in the CBD and the solutions that are put in place to try to deal with the problems.
2. A description of how shopping has changed over the last 40 years. This should include the introduction of shopping centres both in the CBD and in the outskirts of the city. The benefits of each and the drawbacks. Finally, how out of town shopping centres affect business in the CBD and what Glasgow City Council has done try to attract shoppers back into the CBD.
