Entries are now open for this year\u2019s Young Musician Competition!<\/p>\n
The competition takes place on Thursday 27th March 2025, at 6pm in the school extension. \u00a0All competitors should arrive no later than 5.45pm and full school uniform should be worn.<\/p>\n
There are 3 classes in which to compete: Junior (S1\/2), Intermediate (S3\/4) and Senior (S5\/6). \u00a0There is a maximum of 10 competitors per class \u2013 if necessary, heats will be held in advance \u2013 time and date TBC.<\/p>\n
The winner of the Senior class will go forward to represent Stewarton Academy in the East Ayrshire Young Musician Competition taking place on Thursday 24th April 2025.<\/p>\n
To enter, fill out the form here<\/a>, with entries closing at the end of the school day on Friday 7th March 2025.<\/p>\n Note that all competitors must provide a copy of the sheet music that they are performing for the adjudicator to refer to on the night.
