Entries are now open for this year\u2019s Young Musician Competition!<\/p>\n
The competition takes place on Tuesday 11th March 2024, at 7pm in the school extension. \u00a0All competitors should arrive no later than 6.45pm and full school uniform should be worn.<\/p>\n
There are 3 classes in which to compete: Junior (S1\/2), Intermediate (S3\/4) and Senior (S5\/6). \u00a0There is a maximum of 10 competitors per class \u2013 if necessary, heats will be held in advance \u2013 time and date TBC.<\/p>\n
The winner of the Senior class will go forward to represent Stewarton Academy in the East Ayrshire Young Musician Competition taking place on Thursday 18th April 2024.<\/p>\n
To enter, fill out the Form here,<\/a> with applications closing at the end of the school day on Friday 1st\u00a0 March 2024.<\/p>\n Note that all competitors must provide a copy of the sheet music that they are performing for the adjudicator to refer to on the night.
